Sculptor, Artist Painter ...
Matter, Space and Time are notions that have always fascinated him. He enjoys contemplating them from an imaginary, infinite perspective...without limits.
"Woman" is the theme he essentially works on, emphasizing her sensuality, harmony of shapes, balance and her elegance of movement.
The chosen material influences his work and thus its final outcome. Clay pieces are more expressive, strong and laden with energy; pieces in plaster are softer, more sensual and more imaginative while Bronze on the other hand, drapes the statue with a soft shine of nobility.
The emphasis is more on Global effect rather than detail. Thus its sculptures appeal to the individual's imagination, allowing the person to fantasize as he desires.
But the journey has been long.
From his childhood, he played with various materials through modeling. Step by step, between figurative and abstract, his style evolved. At the age of 30, this self-taught artist had his first exhibition. It was the beginning.
Exhibitions, awards, diplomas, the city of Lyon's purchase of his artwork, and other awards and congratulations in France and abroad. Many of these sculptures were in private collections in New York, Paris, London, Helsinki, and Stockholm... In the last couple of years, he has devoted his life to his art. Art has become his life. From one continent to the other and from the Atlantic islands to the Pacific islands, nothing has stopped him. He is constantly searching for new themes and ideas by experiencing new civilizations and cultures.
Recently, to define and separate the imaginary from the figurative and suggestive, he has explored the limits of creativity in his new art in cosmic and futuristic paintings with an amazing and impulsive spontaneity. As with his sculpture one can always find the thread of harmony of form and of shape in his work, but this time with luminous color and light. This broad, new scope to his repertoire compliments his sensuous sculpture work with paintings that have that rare quality of ethereal lightness.
